About Fleetwood
The Surrey neighbourhood of Fleetwood was named in honour of Lance Corporal Arthur Thomas Fleetwood. He passed away in the First World War. It was in the year 2008 that he was memorialized with a statue in front of the Fleetwood Community Centre & Library. Many Surrey residents visit to take a look and to pay tribute.
